Wyoming Wildlife Wonders
A Naturalist Adventure!
Girl Scouts-Western Oklahoma has partnered with GSUSA for this unique outdoor education program. For the next two summers, GS-West will serve as the host council for this national wildlife destination. Participants will come face-to-face with awesome wildlife, explore ecosystems, and view breathtaking scenery while improving your science skills and searching for those hidden treasures found only in nature.
Girl Scouts from 29 other councils across the nation are spending a week in Big Sky country. They will work with and learn from adventuresome and young field instructors at the Teton Science Schools - Kelly Campus who'll take you hiking, canoeing, and trekking through the Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Girls will also explore environmental careers. After all that, participants will do a back-home action project so that they may share new skills, knowledge, and experiences with friends, family, council and community within one year of the event.
