Please join the Friends of the Mansion and Oklahoma History Museum for SeptemberFest on September 7, 2013. Contributors from around the state join to show the many wonderful opportunities at this "Open House" at the Governor's Mansion and Oklahoma History Museum.
GSWESTOK is collaborating with Boy Scouts Last Frontier Council to invite Scout troops to participate in community service activities (help other contributors, hand out maps and info about Scouts, water stations, etc.) at SeptemberFest. The hours spent serving at SeptemberFest may be used toward 'Service to Girl Scouting Bar' for Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. Each troop participating must have a minimum of 2 adults at the event that will assume responsibility for their troop members. SeptemberFest event hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Troops helping with setting up or closing down will be there additional hours (set up 8 a.m. and close until 6 p.m.). Scouts who work the whole day at SeptemberFest (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) will be invited to a swim and pizza party at the Governor Pavilion from 6 to 7 p.m.
