After arriving at camp help plan a few days to be “out of main camp” and set up a primitive site. Learn survival skills, such as lashing, trail signs, orienteering and more.
This program is an overnight camp for Juniors. Campers stay Sunday - Friday at Camp E-Ko-Wah.
Transportation is provided from the Mary Nichols' Family Leadership Center in
Oklahoma City. To ride the bus please arrive at 11:00am-12:00pm on
Sunday. Pick up on Friday is at 5:00pm. The cost is $25 to ride the
Every girl participates in creating her session as she and
her group choose which activities they would like to do during the week
in addition to the program theme of her session. All campers will get a
well-rounded camp experience, including community living, singing, camp
chores, cookouts, campfires and swimming. Campers entering 4th grade
and above will have the opportunity to do archery, challenge course and
canoeing. All programs are weather permitting.
