Cost: $25 per girl, $10 per adult (does not include a trail ride)
Patches/Badges/Journeys: Each participant will receive a Horseback Riding (S-1301) fun patch included in the cost of the registration. The weekend will incorporate the new program journeys; the twists and turns of getting along, working towards an ideal world and the power of advocacy to make the changes girls want to see in their world!
Description: The Leaders of Tomorrow is hosting a Horseback Riding program for girls 11-17 to enjoy a 1.5 hour trail ride while your home on the range. There will also be other fun activities including time to get acquainted, journaling, skits, and self-esteem activities featuring the "Uniquely ME! - Mirror, Mirror" program sponsored by the Dove Campaign. Mirror, Mirror: Discover Your Inner Beauty, is all about shedding beliefs about who you are based on what other people tell you to be. Inside the book you will find activities, health and beauty information, quizzes and tips. You'll hear a new message about beauty, and hopefully fall in love with your own special you. Maybe you'll even discover that you're perfect just as you are! Each girl will receive her very own Discover Your Inner Beauty Dove booklet to enjoy during the weekend and take home!
Bring: Regular camping gear, a pair of jeans and sturdy closed toed shoes or boots for riding. Each troop will need to supply their own food.
Ages: All girls ages 11-17
Min./Max.: 30 minimum, 100 maximum
